The police raided and unloaded the nameplate of the ULMWP Political Bureau, and arrested 10 occupants

Police from Jayapura Resort (Doyo District Police), Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), Intelligence unit and backed up by the Indonesian military (TNI) complete with wearing attributes and carrying weapons in the form of firearms came to the office of the United Liberation Movement for West Political Bureau Papua (ULMWP), dismantled the Office Nameplate and conducted a raid on Tuesday (01/15/2019) in Sentani, Jayapura, Papua. This joint personnel came to the office on the morning (1/15), around 5:57 p.m.
After the TNI-Polri broke into the ULMWP Political Bro Office’s Nameplate, they had taken control of the office and took over the entire environment around the office. They came using (2 patrol cars), (8 truck trucks), (3 strada cars) and (7 Avanza cars, used by intelligence units). The personnel deployed in this raid were in large numbers (around 270 personnel) led directly by the Jayapura police chief, AKBP Viktor Dean Mackbon, SH, S.IK, MH, M.Sc.
Residents in the office had negotiations with the TNI-Polri to leave the office and leave, but this was ignored by the TNI-Polri.
And around 11:23 a.m., the TNI-Polri and the Satpol PP conducted a search and confiscated all ULMWP office assets, there were (4 hard drives), (5 cellphones), (2 printers, 1 Epson and Canon), and all ULMWP document archives the office has been taken by the police.
In addition to taking office assets, the aggressiveness of the Indonesian Police in the PP and Army Satpol also damaged a large portion of the ULMWP Political Bureau office furniture by painting the walls, doors, and splitting it using black paint. Then the police also threatened and asked residents of the house around the office to leave their homes as soon as possible, and the police had installed a police line at the residents’ house near the office as a form of prohibition. Every bed of their home, even cooking utensils and eating utensils were all ransacked by slamming and kicking until they were damaged.
In this search, the joint personnel came with a team from PT. The State Electricity Company (PLN) and decide on all electricity contacts in offices and homes around the office.
Around 11:23 a.m., police arrested 10 occupants of the ULMWP office, including; 1). Wene B. Bahabol (23), 2). Vino Bahabol (25), 3). Ones Siringion (26), 4). Orai Sobolim (18), 5). Domuk Suhun (18), 6). Niel Siep (21) 7). Koti Uopmabin (9), 8). Semei Suhun (25), 9). Atison Kobak (20) and 10). Pine Aud (19).
After being arrested, they were taken to the Jayapura (Doyo) police station, Sentani. Until now, they are still detained at the police station. After arresting 10 occupants, the Police followed up with additional personnel and stayed in the office until 19:43 a night.
Jayapura Police Chief, AKBP Viktor Dean Mackbon, SH, S.IK, MH, M.Sc. said that what was done by the police of the Republic of Indonesia was official at the behest of the state to disperse ULMWP from territorial territory of West Papua. Thus, according to him, any organization including ULMWP that has not been registered administratively in the country of Indonesia, will be able to be forcibly disbanded while instructing to dismantle the name board of the ULMWP Political Bureau in Sentani, West Papua.
